Description
Our primary aims and hypotheses (H) are to:
Aim 1
Determine the prevalence of social isolation and loneliness in later stages of the pandemic, subgroups at risk, and associations with lifestyle & health behaviors. Subgroups we will examine will include age, gender, race/ethnicity, openness to masking, and vaccine status; Lifestyle and health behaviors will include exercise, smoking, and alcohol use.
Aim 2
Determine the association of social isolation and loneliness with unmet functional or tangible support needs. Functional and tangible support needs include ability to find help with daily activities, transportation, and management of chronic diseases, including medication use and health care visits.
