Project Details

Description

The goal is to evaluate the interaction between emulation accuracy and storm sampling in the existing dataset and hopefully improve it. This task will analyze the current storm sampling using emulation analysis. Emulation naturally provides an uncertainty measure and the ability to measure the potential reduction in uncertainty with more and/or different sampling. From this, one could establish a mathematical approach to deciding the adequacy of sampling for emulation or selecting new samples.
