The PROsetta Group at Northwestern University (PGNU) will support this application for the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) Coordinating Center for the HIV/AIDS and Substance Use Cohorts Program (U24) PA-20-272 U24 Administrative Supplement to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements entitled "Collaborating Consortium of Cohorts NIDA Producing Opportunities (C3NPO)- Bridge Funding" applying to maintain a coordinating center “C3NPO” to manage and stimulate use of the NIDA longitudinal cohorts to address high priority research on HIV/AIDS in the context of substance abuse. The PGNU will continue to work on psychometric data linking of substance use measures and key indicators of HIV prevention and treatment. PGNU will analyze the results of the item response theory (IRT) and/or agreement analysis of multiple substance use measures, produce at least one manuscript on these results, and present the findings at conferences and/or meetings, as needed. PGNU will also support the efforts and decisions of the C3PNO in the implementation of data linking approaches based on these findings by participating in conference calls and meetings as needed to share their expertise.
