Description

The research team at Northwestern University led by Zhaoran Wang will collaborate with the team at the research team at the Pennsylvania State University lead by Xingyuan (Ethan) Fang and Runze Li to develop new statistical methods for high-dimensional decision making. In particular, Wang will design general methodologies for the contextual bandit problem (which finds applications in dynamic treatment regimes) and develop theoretical guarantees of the proposed methods. In addition, a graduate assistant will implement the proposed methods as R packages.
