Description
Overview: Transition metal complexes (TMCs), especially multi-metal TMCs, play important roles in catalysis, optoelectronics, and solar energy conversion/storage involving multiple redox equivalents. However, the reaction mechanisms and reaction intermediates of multi-metal TMCs are not well understood. The proposed work aims at understanding the intrinsic coherent electronic and atomic motions in these TMCs and the influence of such motions on the energy and electron transfer processes that ultimately drive chemical reactions.
