Project Details
Description
This task will build upon work completed in Phases I and II and involves preliminary work toward the development of a proposed Comprehensive Integrated Network Design. The Network Design would introduce new route and service concepts that maximize service quality through complementary utilization of all system assets, integrating FRFS bus service with rail lines and schedules. NUTC would develop a multimodal network modeling platform that integrates detailed system structure and supply representation with user demand and response models to services changes that range from network structure and frequency of service to fare structure and policies, as well as various customer-oriented measures such as real-time information and wireless connectivity. This platform would provide a network analysis capability and enables continuing analysis in support of service planning and design.
