Contraceptive knowledge, attitudes, and usage in transgender and non-binary adolescents and young adults: a mixed methods study

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Transgender and non-binary (TNB) adolescents and young adults (AYA) face similar rates of unplanned pregnancy as their cisgender counterparts (Light et al. 2018). Although there has been an increase in literature about contraception and unplanned pregnancy in the TNB adult community in the past several years, there is still a need for further research. Specifically, research pertaining to contraceptive knowledge, attitudes, and usage in TNB AYA remains limited.
