Project Details
Description
NIDA contract: Dr. Kahnt will employ state-of-the-art functional MRI approaches to extract neurobiological correlates of key aspects of behavior in real-time. Analysis will be conducted on single unit data obtained in the IRP labs. Dr. Kahnt's lab will develop novel models for explaining single unit neural data from corticolimbic areas and for explaining the role of state representations in flexible behavior which have relevance to understanding addiction. The experiments will require computational modeling combined with functional MRI technical expertise not otherwise available.
