Description

Professor Eric Dahl (Northwestern University) has been selected to receive a Fermilab Cosmic Physics Center Fellowship Award for the period from 9/1/2021 to 8/31/2022. As a CPC Fellow, Dahl will: • Lead the commissioning and calibration of the argon bubble chamber previously constructed with the support of LDRD 2018-003, a novel technology for the detection of GeV-scale dark matter. • Manage Fermilab’s LUX-ZEPLIN Operations roles, including process controls and cryogenics • Take part in general CPC activities at Fermilab (seminar series, planning, etc)
