Project Details

Description

Over the next two and half years we plan to finish ChIP experiments for the remaining 270 Drosophila TFs for which data has not yet been produced. In order to accomplish this goal, we will use transgenic GFP tagged flies provided by our collaborators as part of the consortium project to grow biochemical quantities of biomass sufficient for triplicate chromatin isolation experiments. The Northwestern team will also be responsible for the chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments. The ChIP’ed DNA will then be sent to Tempus for sequencing and analysis, followed by upload to the appropriate public database.
