Description

Objectives: To create a stable cell line expressing human NaV1.8 voltage-gated sodium channels with or without human sodium channel β subunits (β1, β2) for use in high throughput screening. An innovative transposon approach developed in the Study Director’s laboratory will be used to insure a high probability of success and robust expression. A similar approach was successful in generating stable cell lines expressing the NaV1.9 sodium channel.
