Dark Adaptation on Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCTA) in Diabetic Patients with Glycemic Variability - Jessica Song - ISPB Grant

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The objective is to clarify the effects of variable glycemic levels on retinal hemodynamics in the three vascular plexuses via OCTA during dark adaptation and transition to light. Perturbance would manifest via decreased vessel density (VD), vessel length density (VLD), adjusted flow index (AFI), and failure of neurovascular coupling to adapt to changes in metabolic demand.
