Project Details
Description
This project has three aims. Aim 1 is to understand the innovations in organizing in teams that have been enabled by working remotely amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Aim 2 is to use these data to understand the ways technologies have been used to scaffold teamwork via teaming affordances during the COVID-19 crisis. Aim 3 is to use these insights to generate prescriptive recommendations about how technologies can be used to enable collaboration in the post-Covid future of work.
We leverage data that we have been collecting during the Covid crisis, supported by NSF RAPID (number). We will add two additional data streams to build out this future vision of teaming post-Covid. In total we bring three data streams to bear on this question:
1. Surveys - intraorganizational
2. Surveys - general national sample survey (in the US and China)
3. Interviews
