Department Funds from A synthetic approach to uncovering how RNA molecules coordinate the biochemical processes of life

My group uses an iterative design-test-measure-learn approach to uncover the principles of cellular RNA folding and function. My work is helping to transform our knowledge of the physical chemical and biochemical principles of RNA – the master molecule of life – to yield tools to improve human lives throughout the world.
