Description

Dr. Lambert is Professor in the Department of Communication Studies and Director of the Center for Communication and Health at Northwestern University. He is an expert in medication safety, with a special expertise in predicting, preventing, and detecting drug name confusion errors. Dr. Lambert will serve as Chair of the Expert Advisory Panel. He will be advising the PI and other co-investigators during regularly scheduled phone conferences throughout the duration of grant. For the first 6 months, prior to implementation, he will be part of the planning team. Subsequently, when the project progresses through a series of Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles, Dr. Lambert will continue to chair the Expert Advisory calls where the team will re-design (and then continue to improve) the measures. He will contribute to the analysis of study data and to the preparation of publishable manuscripts describing the results. Dr. Lambert will spend 5.29% of his effort.
