Development and clinical evaluation of a synthetic mucin-like polymer gel as a novel vaginal contraceptive

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The Kiser lab will play a supporting role in the project to clinically test the efficacy of a pericoital barrier contraceptive gel. Kiser will be involved in project meetings, reviewing data from the project and writing reports and manuscripts. We will explore the development of alternative formulations of the polymers being tested in the project to reduce cost and increase performance of the contraceptive product.
