Development and Maintenance of Post-Acute Care Cross-Setting Standardized Patient Assessment Data

The MSS PROMIS team will advise and consult RAND on the research design for different stages of data collection, assist in preparing materials, and conduct psychometric analyses. There are six stages remaining in the RAND/CMS contract. They include Alpha 2 Testing, Public Comment 2, Cognitive Interviewing, Beta Testing, and Public Comment 3. The bulk of the MSS PROMIS contribution will be concentrated on the design consultation and conducting analyses of PROMIS data and related instruments in Beta Testing; NU scientists will contribute in some part to each of these phases, including the training of nurses and preparation of materials.
