Description
Over a quarter million women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. every year. Existing treatments are burdensome for both the patient and the healthcare system. Our team is developing a novel radiofrequency ablation probe designed to address the unique needs of the breast cancer setting. As a substitution for post-operative radiation treatments, radiofrequency ablation offers the promise of faster, more convenient breast cancer care at lower total cost. Our technology will help make that promise a reality.
