Project Details
Description
1. Expertise in intracranial EEG (iEEG) data analysis. My laboratory will provide Professor Ofen with expertise in the analysis of iEEG data across the lifespan. Specifically, we will develop analysis scripts to meet research aims, and provide training and troubleshooting to her research team. We will also provide access to new analytic techniques for iEEG analysis, such as source codes for separating oscillatory and aperiodic components, quantifying directed and non-directed functional connectivity, and analyzing brain networks using graph theory.
2. Additional iEEG data collection. My laboratory works with both the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, ensuring ongoing access to iEEG patients for the proposed research. We will collect iEEG data for this research project with the goal of augmenting the large cohort of patients at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. We will also prepare related data, including but not limited to standardizing iEEG data formats across sites and performing electrode reconstructions using clinical MRI and CT scans from iEEG patients. We will transfer these data to Professor Ofen’s laboratory.
