Development of Novel MR Imaging for Ischemic Stroke Evaluation

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The goal of this project is to utilize an animal dog ischemic stroke model to predict the rate of tissue infarction as a function dependent on time and the variable extent of pial collaterals using MRI DWI/PWI, digital subtraction angiographic imaging, and absolute cerebral blood volume/flow quantification via microsphere analysis.
