Differential Reorganization of Synaptic Protein Content By Typical and Atypical Antipsychotic Drugs

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

I will compare the total protein content, synaptic redistribution and post-translational modification state of synaptic fractions isolated from animals expressing impaired cognition (treated with a typical or atypical APD). The precise characterization of their molecular reorganization will likely identify novel pharmacological targets useful for the treatment of SZ.
