Project Details
Description
This proposal addresses critical needs in the field of high-power continuous wave THz light generation at room temperature. This type of THz source has numerous applications in basic science, as well as in THz communication, explosive and drug detection, security screening, astronomy, and medical imaging. The aim is to create a revolutionary surface-emitting monolithic THz device which is compact, mass-producible, and has mW-scale power output at room temperature continuous wave operation with good beam quality.
