Discovering the Extent of Estimable Prediction in Science and Technology (DEEP)

Professor Dashun Wang will coordinate and direct all efforts undertaken at Northwestern University. Prof. Wang will collaborate on all five project tasks, with particular emphasis on Tasks 2 (Analyzing the predictability of discoveries and inventions), 3 (Analyzing the predictability of Science and Technology impact), and 5 (Optimizing the Granularity of Prediction). He will actively participate in the writing of manuscripts, development and implementation of new algorithms, and the public dissemination of research results at conferences and seminars. In addition, Prof. Wang will be responsible for overseeing and directing the work of a postdoctoral associate at Northwestern University.
