Dissecting How Xenobiotics Act as Adjuvants for Oral Allergic Sensitization

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Dr. Eisenbarth affirms her commitment to collaborating with Dr. Wang to understand how metabolic reprogramming permits survival in anaphylaxis through a GDF15-dependent mechanism. As her laboratory focuses on understanding the immunologic pathways that coordinate the response to allergic stimuli in both rodents and humans she is well-positioned to advise Dr. Wang and his laboratory in the study of immunologic, metabolic and physiologic mechanisms of allergic inflammation.
