The work that I, or supported students, will perform if the grant to be submitted together with Dmitri Talapin (UChicago) and Eran Rabani (UC Berkeley) is funded includes transient and static spectroscopic characterizations of nanoparticle samples to be synthesized by Talapin. Such measurements might include absorption, fluorescence, Raman, infrared absorption, or time-resolved variants of these.
