Project Details
Description
The Evaluation Center will utilize best practices from previous projects applying continuous quality improvement (CQI) frameworks, led by members of our project team and funded by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), to inform all project planning and implementation activities.
Using CQI as a guiding framework, our team will work with all substance use providers and agencies funded through the CDPH Office of Substance Use Services (OSU) to strengthen their capacity to deliver substance use services. Dr. Phillips has led the Evaluation Center in collaborating with CDPH on Task Orders 19, 20, 666, 668, and 700. As such, we are well positioned to extend our evaluation and quality management work to the current task order, understanding the complicated mental, economic, and social impacts of substance use, both on an individual and citywide scale. We will integrate best practices from the field, sourced from CDPH delegate agencies and current literature. Finally, our team will facilitate learning opportunities tailored to the needs of delegate agencies funded through CDPH OSU, through which our team will provide comprehensive, culturally responsive technical assistance and quality improvement support to all substance use delegate agencies.
