EHR Anticoagulants Pharmacovigilance

Drs. Steven Belknap and Dennis West at Northwestern University will help the development of ADE annotation guideline and serve as a tie breaker for the ADE annotation. This work will be accomplished over a period of 2 years. In years 1-3, the NU group will also facilitate the NLP development. In years 4-5, the NU group will then apply the PVTK jointly developed to validate known ADEs and to detect new ADEs signals from the EHR records with a PVTK installation behind the firewall of the Northwestern Enterprise Data Warehouse. These investigators will also participate in data analysis, preparation of abstracts, scientific articles, & formal presentation of results.
