Electrocatalysis for the synthesis of chiral and PET imaging pharmaceuticals

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The goals of the K99 award period were to (1) develop electrocatalytic reactions using non-toxic metal catalysts (e.g. cobalt electrocatalysts) for the construction of carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds relevant to PET imaging pharmaceutical synthesis (aim continued to R00 phase); and (2) develop electrocatalysis for the activation and functionalization of unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds and amide C–N bonds for peptide modification (aim continued to R00 phase).
