Description
Marc Rosenman, MD (Co-Investigator). Dr. Rosenman is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University. He was previously at Indiana University and has led or has collaborated in many projects that have used Regenstrief Medical Record System and Indiana Network for Patient Care data. He has been a principal investigator or co-investigator on projects sponsored by CDC, AHRQ, NLM, NIH, HRSA, and others. He has worked closely with many members of the team gathered by Dr’s Flockhart and Dexter to work on this proposal. His research focuses on clinical epidemiology and outcomes measurement using large clinical and administrative databases. He has helped develop queries for many clinical “phenotypes” (cohorts of patients with particular conditions or diseases, or who have used particular categories of medications, etc.) in the electronic medical record system and in payer data. In this study his role will be the primary interface between the data requirements of the clinical trial and the informatics systems within Regenstrief that contain cost and outcomes data.
