Emergency funds critical to support diabetes clinics in providing essential medical care to vulnerable T1D populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

COVID-19 is having a profound impact on diabetes clinics across the U.S. and the people they treat. The Helmsley Charitable Trust Type 1 Diabetes Program has concluded that emergency funds are critical to support diabetes clinics in providing essential medical care to vulnerable T1D populations impacted by this pandemic.

As such, we would like to invite Northwestern University to submit an application for $75,000 to cover general operating expenses for you to use as you see fit on items such as capital and personnel to deliver telemedicine, responding to acute T1D care management needs, and other items as determined by your clinic.
