Project Details
Description
The Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease and and the age is a major factor for the most case of AD, but the mechanisms underlying the link between age and AD is still unclear. In this project we will use mouse models and human postmortem tissues to examine a novel epigenetic regulation that impacts on aging and AD, and whether changes of epigenetic regulation in aging could steer normal aging toward AD development. The information derived from the project will help to develop new prevention and treatment strategies that benefit AD patients.
