Project Details
Description
The purpose of this study is to contribute to gaps in the literature regarding the challenges encountered during the implementation of somatic sequencing initiatives. Describing barriers and solutions to implementing and executing somatic tumor sequencing could provide a deeper understanding of the issues and potential solutions. The goal of this research is to inform and guide additional oncology clinics who plan on implementing somatic sequencing initiatives.
This study will aim to:
1) Describe challenges and barriers encountered during implementation of somatic tumor sequencing for the purpose of targeted therapy.
2) Identify currently implemented solutions and proposed solutions to address the ongoing challenges of somatic tumor sequencing.
3) Identify areas of future research in somatic tumor sequencing implementation.
