Project Details
Description
We will design, synthesize, characterize, and functionally evaluate materials and catalysts that could advance our understanding of emerging Energy Science relevant to global decarbonization. The work will entail, as noted above, experimental studies of new metal-sulfur containing metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), new MOF-hosted metal-sulfur clusters as catalysts and electrocatalysts, and modified or new MOFs potentially capable of catalyzing complex, multi-step reactions. The work will also entail integration of known or new MOF coatings with known solid metal or metal-oxide electrocatalysts
