Fellowship for D. Cobia in Support of the predictive ability of reward and working memory circuitry in the treatment of negative symptoms in schizophrenia using amphetamine

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Using functional MRI, the goal of this research is to understand the interaction between reward and working memory neural circuitry and whether they can account for the expression of negative symptoms in schizophrenia. In particular, the usefulness of brain activation during reward processing as a predictor of amphetamine treatment response will also be explored.
