Assessing Lupus: Developing a Novel Outcome Approach for Clinical Trials

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The overarching goal of this study is to further develop and validate an improved outcome instrument for lupus clinical trials and real-life patient characterization utilizing a novel approach that incorporates optimization of clinically relevant criteria as well as physicians’ global assessment and the impact of medication adjustments made on the basis of change in disease activity. Dr. Ramsey-Goldman will actively participate in consensus processing of the appropriate set of criteria and contribute to the validation process needed to develop the most appropriate instrument for assessing change in clinical outcomes in lupus patients.
