Description

At Northwestern University, Dr. Long will be primarily responsible for leading the design of two of the exhibits under development—Knowledge Net and Creature Features. All research team members (at Georgia Tech and Northwestern) will be involved in bi-annual user studies and data collection at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Dr. Long and her Graduate Research Assistant will additionally assist in data collection at the museum on an as-needed basis outside of the bi-annual user studies. Dr. Long will also supervise and mentor her Graduate Research Assistant, coordinate publications and dissemination of the project results, and participate in regular meetings with the rest of the research team to discuss findings and design directions.
