FUSE for Southern California Schools

Project: Research project

Project Details

FUSE, an innovative STEAM education program through Northwestern University, facilitates learning through ‘making’ and develops 21st century skills while building collaborative, youth-centered learning communities. FUSE is designed by learning science researchers and is implemented by schools across the country. The Mazda Foundation has awarded a $150,000 grant to FUSE to scale the program to 10 new high needs schools located in Southern California. This project will support the development of partnerships with each of the 10 selected schools, including training teachers in each of the schools. The project will also include collaborating with Mazda to design a new STEM challenge.
