Description
This proposal seeks to obtain funds for a Visiting Professorship for an immunologist in the field of IBD research to come to Northwestern for a full 2 days of educational activities. The visit will comprise of 2 major lectures (Medical Grand Grounds and Divisional Seminar), lunches and individual meetings with fellows/residents and individual and group meetings with IBD faculty and collaborators (immunology and genetics). Funds are requested for all travel expenses, hosting responsibilities, and costs for invitation-only meals with the visiting professor.
