Description
Dr. Naidech will function as the lead PI for the study protocol, including guidelines for management of ICH from upon arrival in the emergency department to initial treatment in the intensive care unit. He will work closely with the study managers to write the manual of procedures for enrollment and management of patients within the trial. He will operationalize guidelines for treatment of blood pressure within the trial. He will also play a large role in site initiation and training, along with Dr. Broderick and Grotta, for the US and mobile stroke unit sites, and will assist Dr. Broderick and Grotta in interacting with sites regarding recruitment or protocol issues during the trial. He will attend all Executive Committee and will help with interpreting and publishing the data.
