Project Details
Description
The goal of this goal of this proposed multi-omics project is to discover genetic and epigenetic features contributing to risk for developing post-operative atrial fibrillation (poAF) in cardiac surgery patients. We aim to identify associations between genetic variants and postoperative AF, along with genetic and epigenetic associations between left atrial tissue transcriptomics and poAF.
