Project: Research project

Project Details

Dr. Lynn Yee is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Northwestern University. She is an NIH-funded clinician-researcher with a clinical research focus on diabetes during pregnancy and health equity in obstetrics. She has experience in patient-centered outcomes research and implementation science. Dr. Yee’s role on the project will be to provide expertise and experience surrounding recruitment and retention of vulnerable populations as well as overall scientific mentorship for Dr. Palatnik who is an early stage investigator. Dr. Yee will meet with Dr. Palatnik quarterly, to discuss recruitment milestones and strategies to reduce attrition, review recommendations from the DSMB and advise on the future steps. She will participate in proposal design, manuscript preparation and secondary analyses. At the completion of this study, Drs. Palatnik and Yee plan to conduct a multicenter study for implementation of this trial findings in GDM management.
