HARC 2.0: Project 3: Genetics and evolution of HIV restriction factors

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The Hultquist lab at Northwestern has collaborated with the HARC Center for three years developing the technologies and preliminary data that enable the above workflow. They will specifically be responsible for executing the arrayed knock-out screening in primary T cells and macrophages used for validation of the proteomic and genetic hits identified in Aims 1 & 2. Dr. Hultquist is an HIV molecular virologist with over 13 years of experience in the field, and originally developed these approaches in collaboration with HARC Center members. He will also play a vital role in directing and advising on experimental design, data interpretation, and mechanistic determination downstream.
