Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

SCOPE OF WORK Emile Okal Northwestern University The scope of Northwestern's contribution to the proposal is to provide the technical background to enhance tsunami detection capabilities based on the deployment of accelerographs on the ocean bottom. This involves the development of techniques to identify in real time and in the extreme near field anomalous properties of a seismic source susceptible to result in exceptionally efficient tsunami genesis.
