Project Details

Description

A sizable number of problems in medicine and health systems can benefit from the insights and capabilities developed in the field of mathematical optimization. At the same time, the complexity of many of these problems has the potential to enrich the respective field within the optimization community. There are a number of such dual accomplishments in the past as a result of individual initiatives. This workshop is intended to accelerate the exchange of such research ideas and problems. The interdisciplinary approach bears the potential to initiate and foster research collaborations amongst these two fields in order to more efficiently address the next generation of health systems challenges.
