HHMI Support for Luis Amaral Early Career Scientist

This proposed funding is in support of Dr. Luis Amaral’s research at the university following the conclusion of his appointment as an HHMI Early Career Scientist. As background, the charitable gift funding represents operating budget funds provided by HHMI to Dr. Amaral for his research program at the University during the past year that were not spent or obligated by Dr. Amaral before the end of his term as an HHMI Early Career Scientist.
