The proposed project seeks to achieve the following specific aims: 1) recruit 600 YMSM that are diverse in age, race, and geographical region of Chicago via three different recruitment strategies (venue-based, online, and peer-incentivized recruitment); 2) identify differences between recruitment strategies in efficiency of recruitment and sample demographic characteristics; 3) describe rates of HIV infection in YMSM, including demographic differences in rates of infection; and 4) identify risk factors (i.e., group differences and social determinants) for sexual risk behavior and HIV infection.
