Anna Chorniy, PhD (Project co-lead): Dr. Chorniy is Research Assistant Professor in the Buehler Center for Health Policy and Economics and Faculty Associate in the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University. Dr. Chorniy is a health economist with expertise in policy evaluation, research design, econometric modeling, and data management and analysis using large administrative datasets. She laid the groundwork for this project by carrying out several studies that use the proposed Medicaid claims data. Dr. Chorniy will be responsible for accessing the raw MAX data and conducting the Medicaid data analysis. She will co-lead writing the academic and policy papers and disseminate the findings at economics and health policy conferences. She will meet weekly with Dr. Seltzer and bimonthly with the larger study team.
