Description
The book I am writing, How to Hide an Empire, seeks tell the history of US overseas territories. It offers the first historical overview of the “Greater United States,” not just the compact cluster of contiguous states but all territory under U.S. jurisdiction,
including colonies, occupation zones, and military bases. In doing so, it brings
the millions of colonized subjects to the forefront of U.S. history.
