Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence Program 2020

The Northwestern Huntington’s disease clinic is a part of the Northwestern University Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders Center (PDMDC) located in downtown Chicago. The center was established over 16 years ago and has an excellent reputation within Chicago, and among the movement disorders community at large. Since inception the center mission has been to provide excellence in care for patients with a variety of movement disorders while enhancing research to better therapeutics. One of the major strengths of the center is close collaboration between the clinicians and scientists working in that disease area. We always believed that patients seen at the center should receive multidisciplinary care and as such offer comprehensive services that include care provided by the fellowship trained movement disorders neurologists, psychiatrists, clinical nurses, genetics counselors, full time social worker, and rehabilitation.
