Description

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) may decrease the damaging effects of radiation therapy (RT) on neurocognitive functioning (NCF) and musculoskeletal growth (MSG) in children with cancer. We propose to test this hypothesis in a pediatric-age matched mouse model treated with varying combinations of RT and HBOT utilizing a comprehensive advanced multi-modality diagnostic panel including neurocognitive, physical, advanced imaging, molecular and pathology end points.
